Description:
The sweet scent of green cardamom evokes honey and flowers and has a distinct citrus note. Its flavor warm, slightly spicy, resinous gives this jelly roundness, complexity, presence but in a delicate way. Excellent at breakfast or at tea time ̀ to accompany a pastry, favorite biscuits or simply on a slice of freshly toasted bread; excellent addition to yoghurt or morning kefir. Finally, a real discovery, served together with meats or pinzimonio, as well as the usual cheeses.
Ingredients: Pomegranate juice (65 %), sugar, cardamom, natural citrus pectin.
The Cardamom: Originally from the Asian continent, the real Cardamom or “ Green Cardamom ” is obtained from the seeds of the Elettaria Cardamomum, which grows in the forests of ’ Southern India and Malaysia. With a balsamic and intense aroma reminiscent of eucalyptus, with a fresh and inimitable taste: floral, sweet, citrusy and resinous, cardamom also boasts remarkable curative properties: stimulating, digestive and tonics; There is also a less common variety, called black cardamom, which belongs to another genus (Amomum) of the same family. It has a different fragrance from the green one, also because it is traditionally dried over a wood fire which gives it a smoky aroma.
